Subject: UPDATE AND OUTCOMES REPORT -- ELECTRICAL OUTAGE (AUGUST 1 AND 2, 2015) FOR MULTIPLE CAMPUS BUILDINGS

The planned electrical outage that occurred Saturday and Sunday, August 1stand 2nd * to investigate, trouble shoot, test and repair the cause of repeated faults/failures on Sub-Feeder 1 * went very well!  Facilities Services electrical manager/supervisor,  Karl Keilbach, reported that one hundred percent of the project goals were accomplished and that all required maintenance and repairs were completed. The backup weekend of August 8th and 9th is no longer needed.

The Facilities Services electrical team was able to restore power to all the impacted buildings ahead of schedule and technical shops verified that building systems were back in operation.

We would like to thank the campus community for the continued patience and cooperation as we worked to resolve these ongoing issues and we are very happy to report that Sub-Feeder 1 has now been successfully repaired and the affected buildings will have redundant capability.
