[CCoE Notice] Emergency Showers In Engineering Buildings 1 and 2

A new project is ready to start construction in Engineering 1 and 2. A contractor will be installing emergency  showers in most of the corridors in both buildings and inside Lab N163. The first phase of the work will be to install a frame against the wall at each shower location and will have a temporary cover of a solid material.  The frame will contain the shower itself and be finished to match the existing adjacent surfaces.  This work is scheduled to start Monday, March 24. The work shouldn't be too intrusive and the contractor will take all precautions to minimize disruptions.

The remainder of the work should start in mid-April and consist of installing the showers and connecting a water source. An e-mail will be sent out advising of the work once the date is firmly established.
