Building Coordinators - please share with your building occupants:

The Central Plant transformer switch operation originally scheduled for last Friday morning, has been rescheduled to occur this Wednesday, July 30, between 9:30am and 11:30am.  Central Plant staff expect the boilers to shut off during this transformer switch.  Generators will be operational.

Due to the interruption of steam production, building occupants may notice a lack of hot water between 9:30am and 11:30am.  Everything will come off of generator power between 1:30pm to 2:30pm.

Again, this operation does not affect anything else, just hot water availability.

Building Coordinators - please share with building occupants

On Friday, July 25th, at 6:00 am, the Central Plant will perform transformer switching which is a normal operational procedure.  This will not affect any campus buildings, however, Plant staff do expect the boilers to shut off ; they will be restarted after a few minutes.  Due to the interruption of steam production, building occupants may notice a lack of hot water between 6:15am and 6:45am.
