Good morning,

Please be on the lookout for this, and similar phishing scams.  At first, this supposed fax notification may look legitimate, but since you're most likely not signed up for this server or expecting a fax, you should treat it like any other possible malicious emails and (even if it tricks you into thinking it's a fax).

If ever you are in doubt whether an email is legitimate or is phishing/Spam, please visit the UIT phishing website to see if the email has already been reported or not (w ww.uh.edu/infotech/phishing).  If it's not reported and you're still unsure, forward me the email BEFORE clicking on any links or attachments in the email.  If you are sure that it is a scam and think this is a new scam, please forward the email to security at uh.edu<mailto:security at uh.edu>, then delete it immediately.
