The University of Houston is very excited to partner with the Asian Americans in Energy, the Environment and Commerce (AE2C) organization to co-sponsor the first AE2C conference to take place in Houston.  The conference will take place on September 5, 2014 at the Hilton Americas (pre-conference reception on the evening of September 4th).

AE2C has confirmed a number of speakers including Astronaut Dr. Bonnie Dunbar (UH), Texas State Representative Gene Wu, and Surge Accelerator co-founder Kirk Coburn. A number of other UH faculty will also serve as panelists at the conference, including Dr. Matthew Franchek (Subsea Engineering Program, UH) and Dr. Wynne Chin (Decision & Information Sciences, UH).

Due to the generous support of the Cullen College of Engineering and the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at UH, meeting registration is FREE to all UH faculty and students. With less than a month away seats are filling up fast.
