Panel Discussion on Social Entrepreneurship

A free, special event on Social Entrepreneurship for UH students, faculty, and staff will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 from 1:00-3:00pm in room 330 in the UCBB (behind Melcher Hall).   The University of Houston is pleased to partner with the MIT Enterprise Forum to host a panel discussion with an outstanding group of front line social entrepreneurs.  Social entrepreneurs identify and solve social problems (often in the fields of health, poverty, environment, education, welfare) creating innovative, transformational solutions that can be applied at local, regional, national or global scale.

Two of our panelists , each an Ashoka Fellow, who have been recognized by the United Nations, the President of the United States, the Clinton Global Initiative and the US State Department.  Two of our panelists are ranked in the top 30 Social Entrepreneurs worldwide by Forbes.  Join the MIT Enterprise Forum and the University of Houston to hear real life stories from this exceptional world renowned panel and learn how to change your life and the lives of many others!
