[CCoE Notice] ECC server room update

Good morning,

We received word that cooling should have returned to the Engineering building, but we didn't find this to be true when we came to work this morning.  It turns out someone forgot to turn on the pump outside our building.  As of 10:30AM this morning, however, the pump is turned on and cooling is slowly returning to the ECC area.  We will turn on as many servers as we can to resume operations.

Please keep in mind that the power situation may still not be stable just yet, and we may face another power outage in the coming weeks.  You no longer have to shut your computers down when you leave work every day, but at the least, please log off.  This will minimize the damage to your data if an unplanned power outage occurs.
