[CCoE Notice] FW: Construction at Central Plant

Just a note to alert everyone that the loading dock in Engineering 1 is scheduled to be closed from May 24 through July 8 for road repaving.  Anything delivered to the engineering buildings will either have to through the main doors or through the loading dock at Engineering 2.

Please let me know at your earliest convenience if this causes a problem for anyone.

Hi Emilita,
I am the Project Manager working on all the construction at the Central Plant.  As part of the project, the contractor is repaving the road on the south side of Engineering Bldg. 1 and the Plant.  You may have seen behind the fence that they are nearly complete with that half of the road.  In order to do the other side, the construction fencing will need to be moved.  I've attached a site plan that shows where the fence will be relocated.  Traffic will still be allowed to pass through to the road that goes down to the Architecture Bldg., however, the loading dock at Engineering Bldg. 1 will be inaccessible while the road is being repaved.  The contractor is scheduling this work to start May 24 and end July 8.  Deliveries during this tile would have to come in the building through the front doors.  I know this is not ideal, but will that be acceptable for this time period?  Please feel free to call me, or I can come by and we can talk about it if you like.
