The First Annual Rice University Workshop on Personalized Learning will occur 22 April 2013 and feature talks and discussion from leading researchers and industry representatives from areas like machine learning, cognitive science, and big data. The 2013 Connexions Conference will be held on the next day, 23 April 2013. Already in its 5th year, the Connexions Conference brings together leading policy, academic, and technology experts to discuss the future of Open Education Resources as well as the technologies that are driving it. This year we are especially excited to discuss the launch of a new OER authoring toolset as well as an expansion of the OpenStax College library.
