Colleagues,
The National Science Foundation (NSF) is happy to announce that project reporting has successfully been transitioned to Research.gov<http://Research.gov>. This means that you will now log in to Research.gov<http://Research.gov> to prepare and submit your final, annual, and interim project reports. You will also continue to use Research.gov<http://Research.gov> to submit your Project Outcomes Reports.
NSF would like to thank the 19 research organizations<https://www.research.gov/research-portal/appmanager/base/desktop?_nfpb=true&_pageLabel=research_node_display&_nodePath=/researchGov/Generic/Desktop/ProjectReportingPilotOrganizations.html> who volunteered to pilot this service starting in October 2012. Because of their feedback, we were able to improve the service before the final rollout.
Research.gov<http://Research.gov> is NSF's grants management system that provides easy access to research-related information and grants management services in one location. Research.gov<http://Research.gov> is the modernization of FastLane, providing the next generation of grants management capabilities for the research community.

Note: On March 18, 2013, FastLane began automated compliance checking for all required proposal sections. Guidance on the required sections is available in the Grant Proposal Guide (GPG), Chapter II.C.2<http://www.nsf.gov/pubs/policydocs/pappguide/nsf13001/gpg_2.jsp#IIC2>. FastLane will not accept your proposal if a required section is missing.
