[CCoE Notice] UH/TMHRI Graduate Fellowship in Translational Research Request for Proposals

All,

Please find attached the Request for Proposal for our new UH/TMHRI Graduate Fellowship in Translational Research.

Many of you participated in our joint Symposium in December and began the initial discussions with other faculty  members from TMHRI.  Please continue your discussions with TMHRI faculty as soon as possible to discuss joint research project proposals. The deadline for submission is Monday, February 11, 2013 at 5:00 pm CST.

So that you are aware of the timeline, a tentative schedule would be:


*         February 11th Faculty Project Proposals Due

*         End of February several proposals selected by UH/TMHRI Joint Steering Committee members and Drs. Tedesco and Ferrari

*         Ongoing through first week of March,  top students interested in joint program will be reviewed and admitted by the College of Engineering at the advice of Joint Steering Committee

*         March 7-9, 2013 UH CCOE Graduate Recruitment Weekend (faculty of selected proposals will participate in recruitment and host a tour of their lab, etc)
