University Center to Re-Open:

Following last week's power outage that resulted in the facility's temporary closing, the University of Houston University Center has begun the process of re-opening effective 1pm, Monday, February 18, 2013.   The Bookstore re-opened by 10am this morning.  Offices that were relocated to other areas of the campus will begin the process of transitioning back to the UC during the afternoon of the 18th.  UH Plant Operations, Tellepsen Construction and Capp Electric have all put in a considerable amount of work on the University Center facility throughout all of last week and this past weekend. Facilities Management team members will continue to address temperature fluctuations, domestic hot water supply to the restrooms as well as monitoring of other facility systems as they are brought back on-line.  All University Center facility operations concerns and issues should be reported to the Facilities Service Center at 713-743-4948 or CSC at central.UH.EDU<mailto:CSC at central.UH.EDU>.
