[CCoE Notice] Engineering Computing

Dear Colleagues,

As you know, John Young resigned from his position as the director of Engineering Computing last month.  I have asked Kiet Luong to be the Interim Director as we search for John's replacement.  We are also looking for Systems Administrators for Unix/Linux servers/workstations in the College and to provide the coordination and local support to the faculty involved with High Performance Computing in the College.

Keith Crabb, Manager, High Performance Computing and his group is providing us support till we are able to hire right individuals.  Meanwhile, Kiet will be the point of contact for interacting with Keith Crabb's group.  We are in the process of setting a Helpdesk email that those of you who are using Linux/Unix based machines.  Kiet's group will continue to provide the Windows desktop support.
