Dear Cullen College Community:

This is the last week of Operation School Supply!! On Wednesday afternoon, we will collect all department school supplies. The department with the most supplies donated will win donuts from Dr. Zerda! More information is below.

The University of Houston is currently collecting school supplies for local children in need, and we are encouraging everyone in our community to please participate. Your donation will help provide school supplies to thousands of local children who would otherwise lack even the most basic supplies on the first day of school. For more information, please see the two flyers attached to this email.

There are now collection boxes in each engineering department. I can also get additional boxes placed in other locations upon request.

Elementary school supplies that are needed include:

-Bottle of glue or glue stick
-Spiral composition books (wide rule)
-Notebook paper (wide rule)
-#2 pencils
-Rulers
-Erasers
-Pens (black, blue, red)
-Pencil cases
-Pocket folders
-Scissors
-Manila paper
-Construction paper
-Highlighters
-Index cards
-Spiral notebooks
-Washable markers
-Pencil sharpeners
-Backpacks

Thank you!
