[CCoE Notice] Mars Rover - Judges Needed

Greetings!

Give three hours of your time; help inspire the young engineers and scientists of tomorrow.

Volunteers are needed for the 10th Annual Mars Rover Celebration, January 28, on campus at UH. The event is an educational opportunity for primary/middle school students to design and build a model rover to perform a mission on Mars. For 2012, there will be 750+ children participating, organized into 230 teams.

Please volunteer to help with one of the following jobs:

*         Judge (Morning Shift - 8:30-11:30 am) (Afternoon Shift - Noon-3:30 pm)

*         Tour Guide (Morning Shift - 10:30am-1:30 pm) (Afternoon Shift- 2:30-5 pm)

The attached flyer provides details on the event, the volunteer roles and the amount of time required. Online volunteer registration is available at https://marsrover.uh.edu/VolunteerRegistration.aspx.
