[CCoE Notice] 2012 AF SFFP Application Notification

The Air Force Summer Faculty Fellowship Program Application
(SFFP) is currently open!

You may apply online at https://sffp.asee.org/apply. The
deadline for both submission of the application and reference
letters and forms is Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at 5:00 PM
EST.

The SFFP promotes communication between research faculty and
Air Force research scientists and engineers. The SFFP provides
an opportunity for hands-on exposure to Air Force research
challenges through eight to twelve week research residencies at
participating facilities for full-time science and engineering
faculty at U.S. colleges and universities.

Those who receive the award may also have the opportunity to
bring a graduate student to participate in the fellowship.

The SFFP offers a competitive stipend and daily expense
allowance. Relocation allowances are also available. U.S.
citizens and permanent residents are eligible to apply.

Potential fellows are encouraged to contact an advisor at one
of the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Directorates, the
U.S. Air Force Academy, or the Air Force Institute of
Technology. A list of advisors can also be found on the program
website.
