[CCoE Notice] Y Building Takedown

During the month of May, several contractors will be on-site to access and provide a report to UH about how to "best" proceed with the demolition of the Y building. The studies to be performed include (1) survey site work, (2) environmental impact (asbestos, chemicals, etc) and (3) geotechnical site work.
The geotechnical study will include core samples taken around the perimeter of the building. Thus, it is possible that a few people that park next to the Y building will be inconvenienced for a day while a core sample is collected. We will give notice to those affected by the survey work.
