[CCoE Notice] Academic Calendar: notice of summer schedule

Dear Colleagues

We call your attention to a change in the academic calendar dates for summer
sessions.
The change is prompted by an effort to accommodate area high school
graduation dates.
The summer sessions are scheduled differently from past summers.

In summary, Summer 2011 sessions are posted as follows:

SUMMER 1
begin date: June 6, 2011
Last class day: July 5, 2011
notes: classes meet Mondays through Fridays
duration: 4 weeks

SUMMER 2
begin date: June 6, 2011
Last class day: July 21, 2011
notes: classes meet Tuesdays through Thursdays
duration: 7 weeks

SUMMER 3
begin date: May 31, 2011
Last class day: August 9, 2011
notes: classes meet either Mondays and Wednesdays, plus Fridays (June 3 and
June 10), or Tuesdays and Thursdays
duration: 10 weeks

SUMMER 4
begin date: July 11, 2011
Last class day: August 8, 2011
notes: classes meet Mondays through Fridays
duration: 4 weeks
