[CCoE Notice] Classroom - A/C Issues

FYI:

I have just been informed that there is a CAMPUS WIDE issue concerning our A/C.  It seems the university has lost one of its main chillers and the remaining chillers are just not able to bring the temperatures down to what is normal.

Faculty and students may report feeling warmer than usual.  Please explain that they are working on this issue as quickly as possible but it may be more than just a few days.

IF you have faculty/students complaining of excessive heat, then please let me know and we can certainly make an "attempt" in finding alternate space.  Keep in mind, however, that this IS a campus wide issue and moving to a different room may not necessarily be any better.

Our office will certainly do what we can to assist in any way possible.  I know it may be difficult in this Houston heat!  Thanks so much for your patience and cooperation!
