Every spring semester the University of Houston participates in Recycle Mania, which is a nation-wide ten-week recycling competition. UH holds a campus-wide competition between groups within UH at the same time as Recycle mania to increase our total weight in recycling. The winning team gets a prize and bragging rights. Last year the University of Houston was the top university in Texas for actual weight recycled and number seven in the nation for waste minimization. We hope that your group will participate in the recycling competition today!
