We hope you will be able to join us for a special lecture.
Faculty, students, and staff are invited to attend special lecture: "Organization of a Technical University and Health Care," presented by Dr. Lars-Ake Brodin, Dean, Medical Technology, School of Technology and Health, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden.
The lecture will be presented on February 10, 1:15-2:15 p.m., in the Texas Learning and Computation Center's Visualization Lab (room 216), Philip Guthrie Hoffman building.
KTH accounts for nearly 1/3rd of the technical research conducted in Sweden and has leading research programs in medical and biomedical technology, energy, materials development, information and communication technology, and transport research. Dr. Brodin is a member of a delegation of visiting Swedish engineers who will be on campus to meet with UH administrators, faculty, students, and staff to discuss research interests and collaboration.
