*SUBJECT:    Election for Faculty Senate*



The seat occupied by the following senator will expire on December 31,
2010.  Senators are eligible for re-election within the parameters of the
college’s bylaws:



*            Shankar Chellam          CIVE *



Please note that according to the Faculty Senate Constitution, Article One
(Membership) and Section Six:



*Regular elections shall be held prior to October 31* of each year for the
terms then expiring. The dean or other officer in charge of each college
shall certify the results of such elections to the secretary of the Faculty
Senate.



Once the election has been held, please forward the results to the Faculty
Senate Office (mail code 2005) or by e-mail to mbbrantley at central.uh.edu.
