Spring 2010 Grading
VERY IMPORTANT!!! PLEASE NO "NR" GRADES for SPRING 2010!!!
A reminder that it is very important that we DO NOT HAVE ANY "NR" Grades
for ANY STUDENTS for Spring 2010!! Having an NR listing impacts
academic standing, student financial aid and graduation certification.
If you are unsure of the grade to assign, here are a few helpful
suggestions:
If the course is a Senior Honors Thesis or Master's Thesis the student
should receive a grade if the work is complete.
If the work is not yet complete, the grade issued should be "IP" (in
progress).
If the course is PhD dissertation, the student should receive a grade if
the work is complete.
If the work is not yet complete, the grade issued should be "IP" (in
progress).
If the student stopped attending your course but didn't drop it, you
should assign a grade of "F" if that is the grade that they "earned."
If you and the student have entered into an Incomplete Grade Agreement,
the grade issued, should be "I" (incomplete) until the student has
completed the work. Once the work is completed an ARCA (grade adjustment
form) must be submitted within one academic year or the grade of "I"
will be converted to a grade of "F" automatically.
