[CCoE Notice] nominations for College of Engineering Teaching Awards

Cullen College of Engineering Faculty and Staff:

On behalf of the 2009-10 Effective Instruction Committee (the last three
COE Kittinger Award winners and department representatives) I relay the
following message:

College of Engineering Faculty Teaching Awards: Please provide a one
page maximum (11pt font, one inch margins) nomination letter for any
faculty member in your department you deem worthy of a College of
Engineering Faculty Teaching Award. Please submit all documents
electronically.  Note: Faculty, Staff, and Department Chairs will be
asked to provide nominations or to self-nominate for this award
category. Self nominations are welcome.

College of Engineering Teaching Assistant Award: Only Department Chairs
can provide nominations for this award category.  Please consult your
chair to nominate Teaching Assistants.  


College of Engineering Lecturer Award:  Only Department Chairs can
provide nominations for this award category.  Dr. Shattuck will be asked
to submit nominations for Lecturers with no department affiliations.
Please consult your chair or Dr. Shattuck to nominate a lecturer.

Deadline for submitting all nominations in all award categories is the
end of the day (5PM) on Wednesday, April 7.
