CCE Faculty:
As you are aware, the Cullen College of Engineering is hosting an Entrepreneur Boot Camp on September 21, 2010. To ensure the success of the program, please take a few minutes to complete the survey and provide your views on commercializing research and entrepreneurship. We would like your feedback on how we can better help our faculty to become successful entrepreneurs and support their efforts to drive innovation and commercialize their research. Your input will be incorporated into in the college's programs and activities and reviewed by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research as it assesses current practices and infrastructure.
Survey results will be published at the September 21 Entrepreneur Boot Camp. The Boot Camp is designed to be the starting point of creating an "Innovation Ecosystem" at the college and university that will become a model for innovation and entrepreneurship to enable commercial activity and framework to drive research dollars into the academic departments. All engineering faculty are invited and strongly encouraged to attend.
The survey can be accessed at http://survey.egr.uh.edu/index.php?sid=29225&lang=en .
Best regards,
Joseph W. Tedesco, Ph.D., P.E.
Elizabeth D. Rockwell Dean and Professor
