Good morning,
We are still seeing continuous phishing scams out there to trick folks
into clicking on malicious websites or download malicious attachments.
This is one that actually has a stolen UH logo to put folks at a false
sense of security. However, as you cautiously analyze unknown and
suspicious emails, you will have noticed a few red flags in this email.
The From email address is a giveaway that this isn't someone from U of
H. also, if you hover your mouse cursor over the UPDATE link, you will
find that the web link is going somewhere else other than a UH webpage.
Finally, the *****SPAM****** tag in the subject line also is a red flag.
Hopefully, you haven't clicked on anything in this email or in similar
suspicious emails.
You can always email me if you're not sure about a particular suspicious
email BEFORE clicking on links or downloading attachments. Thank you.
