[ChBE-Grad] FW: RED Weekend Graduate Student Hosts Needed

Hello Graduate Students, the department is welcoming prospective graduate students for a visit during RED weekend (Thursday March 23rd and Friday 24th) and is in need of current graduate students to welcome and host them. These prospective students will be following the attached schedule and if you were to volunteer to be a graduate student host, you will be expected to:

  *   Reach out to the prospective student via email (or video chat) before the visit and answer any questions they may have.
  *   If comfortable, offer an airport pick-up for arrival on Thursday. If not, you can tell the prospective student to take an Uber.
  *   Attend (free) dinner with prospective students and faculty on Thursday
  *   Attend (free) dinner and activities with prospective students at UH Frontier Fiesta on Friday
Please consider showing off your school and helping the prospective students see the great benefits we enjoy in being UH ChBE PhD students.
